Has anyone heard anything about this kid, he went to hs in my area. Redshirt freshmen listed at 6'3 215 lb linebacker, just curious if anyone has heard anything on him.

I thought he looked good in the spring scrimmage and fall open practice . He has good size and seemed to run well. He is aggressive and seemed to be a good tackler.
I remember hearing good things about him as well, seems like he could see the field at some point, maybe on special teams? Linebacker will be a pretty deep position.
DE's are fine as with out Ott IA will be starting a pair of RSSO, Brinks is a RSFR as listed as a backup, FR Nelson is also listed as a backup, they are young but the depth is there and IA will be having these joining the team this summer,
6'5 McNight, 6'5 Gohlston 6'1 Simon, although some think he will be become a DT, as for me I would rather he becomes a FB.
if Ott returns that just adds more experience as well as depth, not to mention it looks like IA might have Ott's replacement in Epenesa. the future is bright,
no offense but since 2013 the new staff has been building this team for the long haul not a 1 year wonder.
You're a little younger, not to much though. I only played bb, didn't have football after my freshman year cause of low student numbers.
Ott is the most significant recruit out of this class of players. An extra year of Ott and we look VERY different on the defensive side of the ball. Not that Hesse and Nelson can't be good, just that Ott is that kind of player. He's unblockable when healthy and by far our most physical defensive lineman.
Agree......if Ott is cleared for an additional year, that is like signing a 5 star recruit for this class!
No not Clearfield, Diagonal which im sure you are familiar with does. Clearfield hasn't had a hs for around 30 years.
Not so long ago. 1967. I went back in my Yearbook and we beat East Union 7-0 in '67. Sorry. I think I scored that TD. I was a RB and MLB.
I gradated from EU in 1988....we always had good games with Murray.....when we played them, which wasn't too often.

Graduated from Villisca the same year. We too beat East Union that year. Think we won the conference that year in four sports:FB, BB, track and baseball. Best year we ever had.

Yeah, you'd have FOX News and CNN there daily. Hell, even Greta would probably broadcast live from the Axe Murder House, especially since she got her name on the OJ case.
