I wish Iowa would've tried Mansell after the first drive of the 3rd quarter. It was obvious Stanley was scared out there & not going to get it done today at that point.

IIRC in 2011 Iowa was the only D1 team to have only one quarterback play every snap.
Bottomline is no player is above being benched, and that includes the quarterback. If the answer is the coaches didn't have confidence in Mansell, then that is also on them for not preparing the backup to be ready to go if needed.
This has always been Ferentz's kryptonite. Always. And frankly, it's pretty ridiculous. Stanley wasn't just ineffective today, he was dreadful.

You should stop being a hater. It's an observation relevant to our QB situation.
Not saying there aren't more or that ANYC is wrong but this was the first one I saw.
