I'd envision Rocket coming up with a bunch of sadistic Kryptonite weapons and draw out the fight for as long as possible.

Everything hinges on the success of this film. The trailer looks promising, but let’s not pretend Gunn has been infallible in his career. Guardians 2 and 3 are pretty meh. And I’m a huge fan of those films. I do hope this is the spark they need as it will only force marvel to continue to improve.

Sadly, neither.

If the cross-over is produced by Marvel (Disney), then it will be some 8 episode long saga that introduces a vet who is a cis-gender alien who grapples with Earth’s long history of misogyny.

If DC produces it, then David Ayer will write and direct some bullshit about inter-dimensional mummy queen shit that needs love to save it and will also include a dog.

IMO had Joss not come in and try to make Justice League the Avengers, we'd still be in the Snyder Verse. The theatrical release of Justice League is complete garbage; however, the 4-hour Snyder Cut is frack'n awesome! So, if you look at Man of Steel, the First Wonder Woman and the Snyder Justice League, we've got some pretty good stuff to build off of. BvS was garbage despite one of the best iterations of Batman and Alfred I've seen on film. Aquaman was decent as was the first Shazam. The darn sequels (and Joss) is what ruined the franchise and got it turned over to Gunn.
