90 percent of Vets are men....86 percent of those arrested for Jan 6 are men. So one would expect the percentage of Vets arrested for Jan 6 to be higher than the general public % which includes women. Doesn't account for the 3x number you gave but starts to narrow things down.
Since 100% of those arrested are Trump supporters and Vets were polled around 52% for Trump and 42% for Biden....higher than the general public.

Might be the case for some…was just looking it up. Has to be treason, espionage, sabotage against the US government. Pretty sure the guys that plead down to trespassing ect will keep benefits. Depends on what they were found guilty of…
