David Jensen was trailing Sam Stoll 5-0 and had almost 4 min. of RT against him at the start of the 3rd period. Stoll had the option and went down. Jensen then rode him out, in order to secure the 0-6 loss.
Some might argue that Jensen could have intentionally released Stoll and attempted multiple TDs, trying to get some SW, and possibly some backs, in order to actually try to win the match.
Reasons that Jensen would ride out Stoll:
1) Hoping to turn him for a pinfall.
2) Wanted to avoid the bonus points for Iowa.
3) Practice his riding skills.
4) Hoping the pressure of the 2 minutes of riding might cause Stoll to re-injury his knee and default.
5) Bad math skills.
