Yay!!!
Ugh... not Denver.
I'm stoked about this, unfortunately Denver has had some bad covering inside line backers running the 3-4 since Trevathon left (besides Marshall). Josey is athletic and instinctual, but he has short arms and doesn't quite have the speed to cover nfl running backs and tight ends. Until Josey has time to develop the media/fans will be very hard on him. The bright side of that is he feeds off that bullsh** and it motivates him.Perfect fit for Josey. Will have a great D-Line in front. Jewell really needs to get bigger to be able to handle wear and tear of being inside in the NFL.
thank God Denver didn't think like you buddyI'm stoked about this, unfortunately Denver has had some bad covering inside line backers running the 3-4 since Trevathon left (besides Marshall). Why do you say that?thank God Denver didn't think like you buddy
Like Billy Romo....without the psychosis.
Yeah not calling JJ dirty....plays hard and all over the place and so did Romo. Plus they are both white boys so there is that....That's an interesting comparison. Romo was a d-bag. Funny, IIRC, he did an interview years ago on 60 Minutes crying about why he was such a dirty player.
Pass D is going to be a big challenge for him at that level physically. Agree as well that he is more likely to either use criticism as fuel, or ignore it, than let it get to him.I'm stoked about this, unfortunately Denver has had some bad covering inside line backers running the 3-4 since Trevathon left (besides Marshall). People seem to forget that he's an inside LB, not a safety. His numbers defending the pass in college, (for his position), are pretty damn good, so I'm not sure why this would be a major area of concern.
