Jimmy Carter looked like he aged 30 yrs during his 1 term. Then looked like he didn't age a day the next 30.

He wanted to make it long enough to vote this election as well. Almost there! In hospice for what 18 mos now? Guys a machine!
Certainly the most decent man to sit in the Oval Office in my lifetime and, arguably, the most decent of them all. Happy Birthday, Mr. President.
Almost certainly the best Christian in the truest sense who has served as President. Of course, the evangelical "Christians" broke hard for Reagan and are now the base of the GOP.
His time as a president may be judged harshly. His time after he is one of the best humans on the planet. Hella nice guys don't do well in politics.
He inherited an impossible mess of a situation, similar to our current President. Our current President more savvy to handle.
This a testament to "Clean living" . I won't be living that long.
This is terrible but I always have to remind myself he's still alive. Disagreed with some stuff he did in office but I don't think anyone can argue he isn't a good man. Probably one of the reasons he's looked upon as a weak president... he's too nice.
Also the 1979 oil crisis and his handling of the Iranian hostage crisis were a couple things that history won’t judge him kindly on.
But somehow you will not criticize Reagan for committing treason by illegally making a deal with the Iranians to not release the hostages until Reagan was inaugurated.
