I got to thinking about the Hunter Biden rent payments to old Joe, and why Joe's Place hadn't jumped on the tax return angle to bail out Joe Biden. Joe Biden was very proud to let us know he had posted his personal tx returns from 2017-2020 on his web site. Here's a link to where those returns were posted.

I'd be interested in knowing if old Joe paid taxes on the rent collected from Hunter. I'm going to do a little research.

According to Politico, that was only the quarterly amount paid for office space, and they showed the document and said it did not show rent paid from Hunter to Joe for $50K monthly.

I believe Biden's wealth trajectory is pretty similar to that, but larger in scale.

If I remember correctly he was going to sell the house he bought just after his wife and daughter were killed in a traffic accident to help manage debt incurred from paying for his son's cancer treatment. He was ultimately talked out of it and offer a personal loan by President Obama. The big bucks(relative) didn't start rolling in until he wrote a book post vice presidency and hit the speaking tour.

I actually made a comment about the tax implications the day the news hit about Hunter paying $50K per month in rent. I have no idea if or when Tucker explored that. First of all, taxes are always on my mind. Second, Joes Place has been hammering on getting Trump's tax returns for 8 years so he could see all the wrongdoing. Finance- The S corp flows through to their personal returns. The line is in the tax return. I haven't looked to see, how much detail they provided in the tax return, but if rent was paid I can guarantee was reported. However if there was rent they can offset it with expenses. This isn't rocket science Finance seems to be creating an issue where there doesn't need to be. Also what occurs if the agreement was $50,000 but those payments were not made. That depends on if the s corp was a cash or accrual business. Most likely cash.
