How is he going to get Conner in the game if he doesn't take out somebody good?
In what universe does Conner deserve this many minutes?
The lineup with Connor and Jbo on the floor is playing 3 on 5 offensively. A Fran coached team vs. anyone playing tight man D is doomed. I thought this team had a chip on their shoulder? And people still think Fran ball is fun to watch? Outrebounded by 11 in the first half and Fran's big portal get in Rebraca is a complete non-factor.

Serious question, look at the results in the Big tourney and NCAA tourney.
It's 4/5 at both ends when they play together.
JBo may make a shot but can't guard anyone while Connor is okay but can't shoot to save his life.
They both need to sit, period, as they bring little to no value in the floor.
But can Joe T stand at the back of the zone and tell teammates how to play D?

I predict JoeT leaves after this year and transfers to Rutgers. He looks kinda fed up with all this midwestern coaching logic.
That'd suck and Fran better get a TON of heat if that happens.
How many seasons were we clamoring for a ultra quick PG? ... We'd play "cupcakes" early in the season that had quicker and better PGs than we had.
Because he has a serious eye for talent and he's a great human being. He's kirk and he's gonna piss me off but i hope he's here forever
It's interesting. There's a faction of the fan base that wants both of them gone, and then a more sizable contingent that is more in support of Kirk. There are similarities in the programs, in that the hoops team just doesn't defend and despite NBA talent and scoring a lot of points will never seriously contend to win anything because they don't defend. And then the football team, where they defend like crazy but scoring points is like pulling teeth.
The difference is the good will KF has built up by winning things that matter. Conference titles in 2002 and 04, division titles in 2015 and 2021. Winning an Orange Bowl, getting to another Orange Bowl and the Rose Bowl. Fran has yet to do that. He had the best player in college basketball for 2 years and zip. They won some games, but no serious run at conference title, no making it to the final of the BTT, no 2nd round of the NCAA. Some of that is bad luck with COVID taking away a year, but at some point fans want to connect with something that the team accomplishes. That drives a lot of the angst when it comes to Fran.
Not even close from a success perspective.
