Wrestling for Life is growing and we need volunteers. We need to find new ways to raise money and are looking for someone to help us put together a mid-late May bike ride. This would probably require that you be in eastern Iowa. We are also considering Bags tournaments. If you have experience and would like to run one for us, you would have our everlasting gratitude.
In November we began giving wrestling shoes to financially challenged schools. The emphasis has been on middle schools but we have given shoes to high schools and kids' clubs. So far we have given over 100 pairs to schools or clubs in Iowa, Oklahoma, North Carolina and New Jersey. This is pretty labor intensive and we could sure use the help. We have volunteers in Oklahoma and New Jersey and if you would like to join in and help kids in your part of the world it would be greatly appreciated.
