Jok one of 5 Finalists for Nation's best shooting guard

Great honor! Gonna be hard to beat candidate #2 though...

Clown fans will tell you it is the all-district team is what matters here. isu had two on the all district team with Long and Morris but ZERO finalists.

Anyone got a quick stats comparison? Obviously 2 individuals are on teams that aren't considered blue bloods, that doesn't help.

You have a player from Duke and Kentucky. Does Pete have a shot? I'd give it to Pete, but the media doesn't know where the state of Iowa is if you asked them.

It would have been interesting to see Pete healthy the entire year. There was a stretch where he just looked awful and it was mostly because of his back.

This last game was the first time he looked like he had his legs under him for quite some time

Based on those stats I doubt he wins

Based on which stat? FG%? Does FT % matter? Also, does how teams defended each matter?

Pete's stats were a lot better before his injury/slump. Looks like Kennard would get the nod from the stats

Probs goes to Kennard. Best percentage from the field and 3 pt. Second best from FT. Solid resume

By far The lowest field-goal percentage the second-lowest 3-point percentage and the highest turnover margin.

If you want to hang your hat on free throw percentage? Uh, ok.

And the answer to your last question is "not really" when it comes to these kinds of awards
