Pete should work on his ball-handling & defense since he'll need to score 76 ppg next year for Iowa.
Except when you score 29 points....Like Peter Jok but first he needs to learn how many fouls he has in late-game situations. Not knowing how many fouls he had yesterday late in the game and then having a brain cramp and fouling a guy after the play by shoving him is just inexcusable.
Can anyone confirm or deny that Jok is leaning toward turning pro after this season?
He wouldn't even have to pay for it with scholarships being 4 years now. If he leaves in good standing his last year would be paid for. Somebody help me out, isn't this right?Pro does not mean just the NBA. He could play somewhere else.
He is just one year of paying in state tuition away from a degree if a pro career does not work out for him.
Jok isn't as good as White and he's playing overseas.

His father died before Peter and his brother came to the U. S.His parents want him to get a college diploma.
He is not NBA ready at this time.
Bottom Line: Look for Peter Jok to be in a Hawkeye
uniform next season.

Forde mentioned it in his write up. First I had heard it mentioned
A lot of 2nd round picks never make it in the NBA. It would only make sense to go pro if he were told that he would be a 1st round pick. And I don't think either he or Montee Morris would be a 1st round pick..If Jok thinks he gets played a little rough, now, just wait till next year. If he's told he will go in the 2nd round or higher, he needs to go.
Pete is not ready for the NBA. Hard to assess whether his athleticism and ball handling will continue to improve, but it would need to get better.

Peter Jok =/= Ricky Davis
Generally speaking after the 12tg or 13tg pick in the NBA draft, most guys can't play a lick in the NBA. Most guys that are real NBA players stay in college for max two years.A lot of 2nd round picks never make it in the NBA. It would only make sense to go pro if he were told that he would be a 1st round pick. And I don't think either he or Montee Morris would be a 1st round pick..
The majority of players drafted aren't really ready with so many early entries.
There will always be a place in the NBA that can fill it up from outside. He has shown the ability to get on some incredibly hot streaks and his shot is pure, consistent with a fairly quick release. I'm not saying he is ready and/or another year wouldn't benefit him, but tell me a team wouldn't love to have his shot making ability from the perimeter and perhaps he doesn't particularly like school? Who know but after all many would agree Jok played like a all American at times this year, so the ability is there, perhaps not the consistency just yet
