Jordan Bohannon

Joe t is looking much better then jbo tonight. Also I’d like someone that can penetrate the lane and dish. All jbo has done is throw up 9 bricks tonight.
In his defense... most of them at least hit the rim!

I understand when he’s on he’s a good player but when he can’t make sh*t why does he still play the whole game? Has he been out at all the second half?
I don't know why Fran leaves him out there. The worst defender on the team and can't make a shot all night... should not be playing 30+ minutes a game. Try anyone else at that point. I know Perkins played a bit but try Ulis or something, jeebus.

Lmao this board after a loss is insane. Bohannon has been crazy good the last 5 games. He has one bad game and everyone is shitting on him. He was off tonight. Badly. But the team as a whole played terrible. It fking happens. On to the next one.
He brings so much of it on himself though. You want to be talking nonsense on social media and a podcast nonstop you better be able to back it up because you are just asking for scrutiny when you don't.

Toussaint hasn’t been good. And with CJF out the second half do you really want to take another shooter off the floor?
Tonight, JBo was about as far from a shooter as a basketball player can get. He wasn’t a threat to score, and he’s a defensive liability. He needed to sit in the 2nd half. At least JT poses a threat to drive the ball and can play some D.

Loss is not on JBO...if he is out there, he needs to shoot 3's. It would be worse if he's playing and being a defensive liability and not shooting. If Jbo not making shots, he has to be replaced.

When the starters were not scoring, Fran should have gone with quicker lineup and at least tried to get stops and hang on the lead. Iowa had the lead when Keegan was sent to the bench.

The two big lineup did not work vs this quick team. I don't think Nunge played bad, but he was not able to add enough defensively/offensively to make up for lack of speed.

Fredrick is out...if JBo is having bad game, we don't have enough shooters. I don't know why Weezy went into shell and Fran not able to run some play to get him a look.

Am I the only one clueless about what distractions you're referencing?

Indiana still can’t leave him like they can everyone else other than Joe W.

You beat a pack line defense by hitting shots. If you’re not hitting shots it’s going to be tough. Doesn’t help that Indiana was able to mug Garza all night as well.

Holy moly someone on here is actually making some sense. Say it ain’t so!

Hammering away on podcasts on why student athletes need better pay, then subsequently going ice cold while losing to Minnesota. Starting a petty war with the UI parking police, running around on Twitter crying about it, then subsequently putting up an 0-fer in a game Iowa had no business losing.

Yeah, players feed off each other, and leaders aren't supposed to act like children.

If you’re referencing his podcast... ya I’m sure 1 hour per week of doing a podcast for fun is really distracting him from basketball. If only he had used that one hour per week to practice a little more I’m sure he would’ve been better tonight...

Do you realize how much free time these guys have per day despite having busier schedules than most?? Who cares what he does in his free time! It’s not any more distracting than someone else playing video games or watching a movie or literally any other activity.

Bohannon, not paraphrasing, said in an interview that he was the best guard in the country. I like swagger alright but usually you have to have the skill set to back it up. He's a talent no doubt but messed up in the head. That leads to distractions, stupid segues and a lack of single minded focus needed to win the big ten or national championship. I don't blame Fran for this. There are head cases on that team and sometimes egos and abilities don't match. Sad stupid loss.

That's fine & great, but by doing that you open up the internet warlords attacking (or praising) your words merciously. Then it becomes a constant rebuttal game to "get" the next troll. The whole thing is counterproductive & if you're a KF fan, you can fully understand why he took that position in regards to Twitter.

After that performance the parking patrol needs to skip the tickets and instead put jordans face on some missing posters and plaster those all over his car. That would be as they say "savage"..

Don't blame Bohannon, blame stupid Fran for keeping him out there the entire second half.
This. Sometimes you don’t have it, and Jordan didn’t tonight. He’s been incredible basically since Christmas. The minutes he played the second half, with guys who can at a minimum provide better defense in Ulis and Toussaint riding the bench is incredible to me

Jordan Bohannon played the worse game of his life tonight; luckily, he still has the gift of responding, and recementing his already legendary status in the history of Iowa basketball.

This. Hopefully this isn’t the start of the Fran fade. Whether you want to believe it or not his teammates are getting board of JBOs off the court antics.this is becoming apparent...and a not so suttle secret any longer...
I think the teammates say the right things when there is a microphone around but I have noticed some subtle things on the court and on social media where I agree with you.

Such as? Not disagreeing with you, just wondering what you've noticed because I've been shocked at how well they seem to quit up with the BS
