Junior WTT Results Thread

PSU 197 Cassar just popped his shoulder out while leading 6-0. He's out. Wait and see how this affects the folkstyle season.

I watched the match, Cassar looked good and looked to be on the way to getting a tech fall over Singletary. Injury looked pretty painful. That injury will likely continue to reoccur. I'm wondering if surgury will be in his future. Shoulder injuries are a son of a bitch and can take a long time to heal. Tough break, he was looking real good.

Glosser looked great by the way. Tall task getting past Kolodzik though. He worked Turk over pretty good their last meeting. Eirman from Missouri dominated Turk. Eirman upset Yanni Diakamoholis(spelling?) in their first bout at Jr Nationals. Eirman is supposedly going to be Mizzous 133 next year. He looked pretty big to me.

Kollin Moore of Ohio State defeats Chase Singletary 13-10 to advance to the best of three. Steven Holloway has a 6-1 win to his credit over Moore.

Eirman wrestled 60kg a few weeks ago at the Open and is up at 66kg today.

PBS- I thought I saw Stroker registered @ 66? Or did I just see that wrong?

Glosser v Tristen Moran now. Moran is an Okie St. kid. Glosser is a bloody mess from a gash on his forehead. Glosser down 2-0 early. Blood time out for Glosser

He was registered. Dissapointing as I think he had a real shot to win it. He didn't come down to Texas, I'm not sure why. I wasn't made aware of any weight issues.

Not sure that Stroker's results over the past year or so lend to him being one of the favs, but just my take.

Glosser goes down swinging like a Hawk loses 8-6. Working a lace as time expired, didn't quite have it. Showed a lot of fight.

He needs surgery or it's a 100% guarantee his shoulder will dislocate again and again. Minimum of 6-8 month recovery. He's either done until at least Jan, done for the year, or he will give it a go in some restrictive brace. If he continues to wrestle without surgery it will be a certainty to come out again.

Dr Edge, would you know what the surgery would be?

I just have a friend who I talk to all the time at the library that's a surgeon who I asked and this is what he told me...

I have a friend who I talk to all the time at a bar who is a Chiropractor who I asked and this is what he told me... He told me it's impossible to truly know without examining the patient in person. AND since Chiropractor's are like THÉ SMARTEST Dr's around I'm going to believe him instead. ;)

It is just me or was it not that long ago Spencer had such a bad shoulder injury he wasn't going to wrestle for like ever??! He seems to be doing OK today

Unfortunately with this being his second time on the same shoulder, option 3 of simply letting it heal appears to no longer be an option. Option two of a brace isn't really viable as he'll really have no shot to AA most likely. Option one surgery is the longest and most painful recourse, but probably the best one for Cassar and the team long term. The whole thing sucks, but better in May than February.
