As I'm bounding through player interviews and podcasts and the rest, it occurs to me how much I've come to enjoy Hawkeye Report as a place to get my Hawkeye news.

ya great interviews...Hutton, Wagner, Jones ... very impressive. Pretty easy to see how Fran felt they all were good fits.

When asked about minutes ...Hutton ..goal is to be the best defensive player on the team...oh well even in the B1G.

Wagner...not worried about minutes..just trying to get better & help the team..

Jones.. has had quite a journey coming out of high school...then with the year off with the injury...really seems to relish the fact he is at Iowa.

Looking forward to Fleming interview..

Fleming did not play on Thursday evening, so no interview until Sunday. We will get him then.

I also appreciate the player interviews.

Hutton is on a mission....... I think he stated "lockdown" at least 3 times when asked what his role / minutes might be. I can't recall another recruit who came to Iowa with such a clear purpose to excel as a defensive stopper.

All the new recruits seem really humble and ready to contribute any way that will help the team.

Looking forward to seeing and hearing from Baer and Ellingson.
