Idk how as a player or coach you can hold your tongue after this game. I guess players cant be fined so maybe they’ll let their feelings be known
Kim Mulkey has spent more time on the court than any player. She and the refs are a ****ing joke.
I would take my fine after this game.
She knows they’re a completely incompetent joke, and she’s taking advantage. It’s hard to blame her — she’s getting a competitive advantage by intimidating a group of idiots. It’s the refs’ job to call the game like grown ups. Sadly, they’re incapable.
I will say it. Playing LSU in their backyard, an all black officiating crew and us playing against an all black team. Not a racist but where is diversity and fairness?
Not to mention the coach dresses like a pimp.
It sucks that racism is back in sports. Sad. I guess that's what we wanted right?
I don't talk in huge generalities, but I will do so here. Those refs should NEVER be allowed to ref any games after this. They should not be allowed to ref in public rec games. Not in middle school. Their whistles should be taken away and flushed down the toilet, never to be allowed to use them again. The NCAA should make every ref crew watch this game and be told, "If you ref like this, you will never ref another NCAA game. Like NEVER.!

It was just so disappointing. I honestly don't think there is any fix or they favored anything, they were just completely incompetent the entire game.
Both teams didn't know what the **** a foul was or how to play.... which leads to frustration, which leads to nonsense T's because everyone is pissed.
Iowa lost this game because their not as deep as LSU, and both teams starters rode the ****ing pine longer than they have all season.

It was bad. It feels even worse than it probably really was because it impacted us more directly but it sure seemed like it was unfavorable at the very least.
Sports radio tomorrow should be entertaining. I imagine dan patrick will likely hit on the officiating topic

Absolutely and that's what is so frustrating to me. It's like they didn't understand this level of play... how the hell did they get assigned this game.
I'm at the point of like... what good is the NCAA anymore? What the hell do they even do? They didn't get ahead of NIL so it's a complete shit show... and they consistently trot out terrible officials for the Men and Women's games.
Just blow the whole thing up imo, they're worthless as an organization.
The important thing is diversity. It makes everything better.

This fit the narrative perfectly. Get IA and the largely white team to the championship game to promote viewership and then make sure the woke diversity agenda prevails with all black referees.
Now yet one more pleasurable activity will fall to a woke boycott. Too bad too, people across the country were really starting to embrace NCAA women’s hoops.
I don’t want to agree with this but I have coached a lot of mostly minority teams At Bettendorf, Assumption or North Scott and wondered why the foul count was 8-1 halfway through the second quarter.
