I'm glad to see that there are some LSU fans with humility and recognize asshattery when they see it, but at the end of the day, he and his wife are just fans and haves nothing to apologize for. It's not their daughter acting a fool on the floor in the closing seconds of a decided contest, and it's not the wife dressing like Siegried and Roy in one of their Vegas shows or condoning her players' actions.
That said, there might not be another school that epitomizes "win at all costs" like LSU. They have tons of success in football and baseball, and now have a WBB championship on top of that. But when the athletic department lets the inmates run the asylum, this is what happens. Take your trophy, but you gotta take your criticism too.

This thing just needs to die now Clark had no problem with it, yes I believe it was classless and over the line but if Clark is fine with it time to put it too bed, with social media not sure that will happen anytime soon.

The worst part (if its possible to be worse than Reese's behavior) is the dishonest narrative being spun by most media outlets or the denial by celebs like Clanq-Fu. The lack of objectivity is unbelievable. Props to this parent and LSU fan for writing the above post.

Honestly I don't think she is fuming. She has handled this tremendously.
Evidently Reece let it slip that her behavior was a "business decision" as her number of followers have skyrocketed since she did this and is why she won't let it go. I'm not surprised for a minute but this is just another reason to hate social media. Who actually wants to listen to this crap all the time?
She's fuming about the loss and I'm sure the way that game went down with the officiating, I can guarantee that. I honestly don't think she gives a rats ass what Reece is doing. I think she realizes she's got a lot bigger things to worry about and to play for. Clark is on a path to need "people" to manage her contracts and assets. Reece is a blown ACL away from an Only Fans career path.
She may not currently be fuming, but you can bet your ass she’ll use the game and Reese’s conduct as motivation to keep improving and becoming more dominant.
Really hope we get an Iowa-LSU match-up at some point next season. Imagine the ratings that would do, not to mention how sweet it would be to kick their asses.

She cannot be thrilled as she is directly and indirectly being painted in a negative light. It all started with the manufactured "disrespectful defense" comment. A lot of rationalization going on with people saying what Reese and CC did were basically the same thing.

I'd be surprised if Reese is even eligible next season with her gpa. If i was an LSU fan I'd be pissed that Reese let her jealousy and classless behavior become a large part of the championship. Instead of being a national championship team they are busy trying to defend Reese and her behavior. How she got tourney mvp is beyond me. And then to make this into a racial issue is an absurd excuse for behaving like a spoiled child. Her crown, eyelashes, tik tok videos of herself in bikinis, etc is ridiculous. It seems that she had a serious problem with Caitlin getting more attention than she does and has created an opportunity to capitalize off of Caitlin. The nba stars like Lebron defending her reflects poorly on both of them. The excuse of being black makes it ok and if you disagree you must be racist is a joke. I, for one, am not letting it go and if anyone thinks Caitlin isn't motivated by this then you'd be completely wrong. Trashy behavior will inspire those that find it disgusting.

Won't happen. Black media is making this their rallying cry. To Reese and the blacks, this is purely a racial issue. Clarke waiving off defense on a terrible outside shooter for South Carolina, was based on her being black, not because she can't shoot 3's. Black culture thrives on making up racism where it doesn't exist. They thrive on being victims.
I noticed that none of the mainstream media has mentioned Reece calling her a Ho when trying to compare the two.
Steven A Smith justified Reese's actions by saying Clark would have done the exact same thing if Iowa was up big.
For the sake of argument, let's say Clark did do the same thing (although we know she wouldn't). If Clark followed Reese around the court after the game, HOW WOULD STEPHEN A HAVE REACTED THE NEXT DAY?

I hope next season the refs will give her the star treatment and not allow other teams to foul her all over the court. And give her the benefit of a doubt on close calls. I have watched few womans BB games. But as long as CC is on the team that will change. I watched last seasons Creighten game and this years elite 8 Iowa games. Do the refs let that BS go all season?

Clark's comments today were brilliant. What better way to defuse an increasingly toxic situation than to heap praise on nut-job Reese and commend LSU on their national championship. In the process she cleverly debunked the "disrespect" nonsense and clearly indentified herself as the one individual here with a modicum of class. Great job Caitlin!
All the while making massive fools out of certain thousands of people on social media that felt disrespected thinking that Iowa/Clark wasn't going to say anything about the incident in defense of Angel Reese.
Now when anyone from that group tries to downplay it with comments like, "Yeah well they probably made her do it.", they'll just look like even bigger jacka**es than they already do...........
