It’s not as simple as being promoted from major or LT Colonel.
Not only that the promotion structure is different in different armed services. You cannot equate a one star Army General with a one star AF general. It doesn’t work that way.
The military has always been “woke”, by some of your definitions.
We’re governed by meritocracy in the military, rank, and one corporal is equal to another.
It’s not as simple as being promoted from major or LT Colonel.

I should clarify. Woke is in the minds of MAGA. Anyone who doesn’t agree with them is woke.
