His CC is quality and they play quality teams. This dude had 20ish plays of 50+ yards in 1 year. He is crazy quick, shifty and athletic. Had about 5 punt returns he housed and none were blocked particularly well. This guy will add 1 explosive play per game this year. Good watch.

He had 3 TDs total.

Here were his stats last season at Western:
18 receptions for 304 yards and one touchdown, with a long of 41 yards
4 rushing attempts for 60 yards, with a long of 37 yards
31 punt returns for 459 yards and two touchdowns, with a long of 72 yards
7 KO returns for 129 yards.

I'd look for the young man to add depth and help the room to continue to push forward - our walk-on WRs always seem to "add value" to the team. If guys on scholarship don't work ... then a walk-on could start earning some of those reps from the guy.

Of course, that said ... IF healthy ... the Hawks have Bruce, Johnson, Jones, and Ragaini who all have quality game experience - the latter two being veritable "veterans." On top of that, Ritter is a guy who earned Coach Copeland's trust last year ... and Brecht is entering the picture too.

I'd expect that Wetjen could earn some trust this year - to set himself up to be a quality returner for us after Jones graduates.

Of course, that said ... guys get injured. If Jones goes down ... you cannot have too many quality guys!
