"It's unusual for judges to do this sort of thing under any circumstances. But I suppose if this was ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ if this was some recognized, established classic or something, it might be different. But this is obviously an advocacy production, so for a Supreme Court justice to participate in advocacy on an issue that is currently in the courts, and at least broadly speaking, before her, I think it's a huge mistake," he said.

The musical, called "& Juliet," features prominent LGBTQ+ themes and nonbinary characters. The musical begins where Shakespeare's original ends. Instead of dying by suicide for love, Juliet chooses to forge her own path, challenging traditional gender roles. On its website, "& Juliet" is described as a "hilarious new musical" that "flips the script on the greatest love story ever told."

Agreed, but so is taking millions in gifts. Ethics don’t seem to matter anymore.

Completely fine with open bribery of justices but not this, of course.

Maybe when Thomas stops taking money from Harlan Crow that are well beyond his (Thomas's) means to pay for himself than maybe you can talk about a justice being in a play with LGBTQ themes.

She needs to recuse herself from said case anyways, given she is not a biologist and lacks the intelligence to define the word 'woman'. Dems are really bad at pretty much everything.

Coming from the guy who doesn’t understand the word “majority,” that is some funny shit.

Mad cuz trump had the majority of votes and you're coping.

She still refused to define the word woman, citing her lack of being a biologist as a reason. Why do you believe she is capable of ruling on cases pertaining to questions she herself says she's not qualified to do?

Maybe, but that ignores that one is more wrong than the other.

Focus on the bigger issues than worry about the smaller ones.
That's a reasonable answer I guess.

Not intended as a gotcha question, but just curious if there are any big issues with any liberal judges or politicians that you think we should be focused on?

I'm not a fan of all the pardon's Biden has signed including to his son. It's all legal but it's corrupt AF.

Most of congress is corrupt making money off of what is essentially insider trading. Pelosi is probably the biggest one. Again this is legal but corrupt. She also took money from I think Dole or some fruit company and tried to exempt American Somoa from a law because that company had production there.

Menendez should have been removed from the senate the minute he was charged, not waited around until he decided not to run for re-election. Dude sold us out and whatever time he spends in prison it's not long enough.

Honestly I have more of a problem with the money thing. Jackson being in a play is like a .5 out of 10 at best.

This sort of thing is not what a scotus should be doing... but since Clarence took gifts from friends apparently the expectations are out the window now. It's preschool rules now.
