Who do you got? Of course with my black and gold (Rose) colored glasses I would take Johnson… some people say he’s 6’0 but I have heard he’s 6’2 235… he definitely doesn’t look 6 foot, I think he’s more like 6’2…

685 for the Big Johnson through only 4 games

585 for Monagai through 5 games

Now Ashton Jeanty has 845 yards? I still would take Kaleb over him

Monangai has only played 4 games this year.

Hopefully Nebraska slows him down this week to help widen the gap.

100 yards and a TD and I'd call it a great day from KJ.
100 yards would be a satisfactory outing for kaleb in a likely iowa loss. now if the announcers mention the name Tshimanga Biakabutuka on saturday there's a good chance KJ's having a great day.

Why would Iowa undersell his size? It's usually the opposite

Nebby can slow him down which would be good and normally I hate to see nebby win but they are at home and I am not sure I want Rutgers at 1-0 winning on the road.

Nebby still has games @ ohio st, @ usc, @ iowa, and @ Indiana so that will be a guantlet I think for them

All great backs. We have who we have. Nothing more, nothing less.
Exactly. I watched Monangai last weekend and was very impressed. I haven’t watched Jeanty yet but from all accounts he’s really good also. I thought the VT back looked damn good too last weekend. I’m glad we have KJ and hope he finishes the year as strong as he started, Saturday will be a great test to see how legit he/the line truly are.

Maybe not but once he gets into the open field he’s got a 3rd gear and the kid can fly
This is where I think the blocking schemes have been very effective. When teams load up to stop the run, they're vulnerable to the big play if the RB can get past the LOS. We've seen KJ find that hole and suddenly he's at the second level with a flat-footed defender trying to grab him.

There will be 2 great backs in this week's game. TreVeyon Henderson is also one of the best backs in the country and a sure fire NFL early to mid round pick.
