You suspect he had a comorbidity because of your familiarity with him, or because of your vast medical expertise?
Because that is the case in a vast majority of covid deaths.
Surely a doctor should be aware of that by now.

Are we finally ready to admit that the vaccine was only really needed for the fat, old and sick?
And, that for nearly everyone else, it was just about lessening the symptoms?

Wasn’t that obvious from the start?

There is data from Europe and other places that contradict that. You might want to keep an open mind.

I have an open mind, do you? Currently it appears vaccinated people have a lower chance of becoming infected. If new studies cause this thinking to change, then I will accept that and form my opinions based on that.

The number of unvaccinated folks dying from COVID vs those who were vaccinated in the Delta and Omicron waves is proof they majorly worked. And plenty of these unvaccinated folks were not old or obese. It’s amazing a million deaths later and despite the clear data showing vaccines worked, we still have the numpty brigade here claiming otherwise.

Average age of death from Covid:
https://www.statista.com/statistics/1191568/reported-deaths-from-covid-by-age-us/

Comorbidity statistic from the CDC:
The CDC data states that , “For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death.”
However, the statistics actually show that of those who died due to COVID-19, the virus was the only cause of death 6% of the time. The other 94% of people who died from COVID-19 in the United States had other conditions that contributed to their death in addition to the virus.

This echoes information that public health officials have shared since the pandemic’s start that people with underlying health conditions are at higher risk of complications and death due to COVID-19. Such underlying health conditions include chronic lung problems, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and renal disease, among others.
