Actually, it was a tiny little hammer they used to suspend Bill Self for the first four games this year as punishment for all his past shenanigans that were investigated by the NCAA and FBI. I suspect they are hoping this "self regulation" will get them off the NCAA's "naughty" list and that somehow this will be enough punishment for clueless Bill and we can just move on as normal now that NIL is in full effect.

Yes, the NCAA is truly pathetic! They needed a Barry Alvarez type leader...at least 15 years ago.

Is it too late now?? Football, yes. But will they lose basketball too??

I've always been an advocate of playing by the rules and doing the right thing but if this is the "punishment" why doesn't everyone just cheat?

Because not everyone got a pass. If your blood wasn't blue, you got wacked.

Now....with NIL...? Yeah, everybody will cheat and get away with it.
