****Kansas City vs Iowa Game Thread****

Minnesota only led KC by 2 with under eight minutes to go, but then pulled away to win by 15. Will be interesting to see how we do against them as opposed to a team that is predicted to finish in the bottom three of our league.

This will be interesting for a variety of reasons.

First, will Connor play? I think Fran has treated these pre-conference games, when it comes to injured players, in the sense that he is going to heal/rest the player to have them as healthy as possible for conference play.

Same scenario for Josh O.....I guess we will see how injured each of these guys are.

Will Keegan continue to play like he plans to dominate the competition? Will Joe continue to take care of the ball? Do Ulis, Perkins, PS, Kris, etc....make strides in getting settled into their roles? Will Rebraca start to get more comfortable?

Is this UMKC team as good as Longwood? They have a 6'8" guy that is their leading scorer, so we will see if our frontline length plays good defense on him........

I am not a big fan of BTN+ but I guess I'm happy I have it for tonight's game.

Been watching prices of tickets all week thinking I could find something really good today and the prices have been going up. What the heck is that all about.

Try again next Tuesday. It'll be back to the Lickliter days of just grabbing a seat
Ha yeah especially with an 8:00 game.
actually could have just gotten a free ticket for tonight. Went to the ticket office to see if they have any men’s bball posters, didn’t see any so I thought I’d ask the lady at the ticket office. Walked up to the window and the lady that just bought tickets left one behind. I did the right thing though and gave it to the elderly lady.
still no posters FYI, hopefully in a couple weeks it sounds like.
Also saw ulis and josh o on the way in. Thought about asking josh if he was gonna play but I did not.

Good questions indeed. Go Hawks!

Still hoping to see Josh O get some PT.
I'm all for small ball, but I think there will be times when having his size and fouls to give against some of the true 5s in the conference will be of value.

Time to chew ass and kick bubblegum. And we're all out of bubblegum.

It should be noted Minnesota is going to go 4-16 in the big ten this year.
