So, this is pretty f*cked up, but some conspiracy theorists actually think Katy Perry is the late child pageant star JonBenét Ramsey.
One random weirdo who goes by Dave Johnson explains in a YouTube video how the 1996 Ramsey murder case was actually one big hoax Perry kept secret while she rose to her pop star status.
Over screenshots of Ramsey and Perry’s Wikipedia pages, Johnson explains his theory, saying,
All of these people are liars, man. Nobody died, nobody got hurt. That sacrifice was in name only, and that was to get something, and that something was to become a star. JonBenet became Katy Perry, and that’s a fact.
He supports his claim by comparing images of Katy Perry’s parents, pastors Keith Hudson and Mary Perry, and Ramsey’s parents, noting they look incredibly similar.
There are a couple problems with this theory, namely that Katy was born a full six years before JonBenét. Also, this dude is clearly batsh*t cray cray.
But the real clincher comes in the form of eyebrows. As Johnson says in his creepy voiceover,
You know, the eyebrows don’t change much on a person. You’re born with your eyebrows. They’re very close, very close indeed, aren’t they? … As you know, this whole entertainment industry is just a charade — you really don’t know the truth.
Yeah, I guess we’ll never know for sure whether Katy Perry tweezes or threads her brows, either.
