Looks like the guys baseball trip this year is Kansas City and St. Louis. Give me things to do around both ballparks. Looks like Kaufman is away from most things.
Ballpark Village is great but it gets pretty crowded if you're not there early. Check out Paddy O's on the South side of the stadium.Ballpark Village outside Busch stadium is fantastic for pregrame and post game food and drinks. Fun atmosphere. Kauffman has nothing outside the ballpark, but Power and Light district downtown is a good atmosphere.
This isn’t a vacation, but more of a winter trip. If I were a poor, I’d be hanging on a bridge with bison.Only poors vacation in Missouri. I thought this was HROT!
P.S. Cardinals fans suck (even though James here is moderately tolerable).

You can't polish a turd, such a shitholeGet rooms at the Westin Inn St Louis before they fill up. You can walk to the village, courthouse and Arch from there. On your way out to KC, you could take a short Detour through Washington, a scenic Missouri river town with a good barbeque and brew pubs on the river. WWI museum and the Negro League museum and the plaza area...
As noted above, several good suggestions:Looks like the guys baseball trip this year is Kansas City and St. Louis. Give me things to do around both ballparks. Looks like Kaufman is away from most things.
Thanks, I think...P.S. Cardinals fans suck (even though James here is moderately tolerable).
Like Jack Trice stadium, zero atmosphere. I look forward to @runkpanole 's compare and contrast report on the two.If you don't have a blast in KC, it is your own fault!
The ball park was built the way all ball parks should be built......away from everything with easy access and AMPLE parking! And the ball park is very nice!
Yeah, Kauffman is one of those down the freeway from downtown ballparks. But it’s better than downtown St. Louis (Plus, you don’t have to deal with Cardinals fans). Besides, Kauffman is the better ballpark. For the Royals, recommend eating at “Gates on East 40” or Dixon’s Famous Chili Parlor. Not far drives. For St. Louis, Broadway Oyster Bar.
Looks like it will be an early/mid June trip. I’ll report back. Thanks, I think...
I'll let independent opinions from MLB players do the talking though...

I’m pissed that I forgot the National Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. I actually preferred that to the WW1 Museum.Looks like it will be an early/mid June trip. I’ll report back.
Spoken like a true POS White Sox fan 😉Um, I’m a White Sox fan.
Tailgate. There's nothing to do around Kaufman stadium.
Some of that related to the ball teams......Kaufman is very nice, especially since the remodel....Plus the fact remains that KC is an American League city, and the American League is the League where professional baseball is played. Thanks, I think...

Not in Biden’s America. If you wander like 6 blocks from Busch Stadium there are some super nice places to get stabbed.

Cedar Rapids has had 3 shootings in the last 2 days...If you wander like 6 blocks from Busch Stadium there are some super nice places to get stabbed.
It's a different place than when I lived there in the 80's. The biggest danger in CR at that time was getting run over by some dude with a mullet driving a Camaro.Cedar Rapids has had 3 shootings in the last 2 days...
The correct answer is, of course, OP's mom.Looks like the guys baseball trip this year is Kansas City and St. Louis. Give me things to do around both ballparks. Looks like Kaufman is away from most things.
They call the American league the Junior Circuit for a reason...Some of that related to the ball teams......Kaufman is very nice, especially since the remodel....Plus the fact remains that KC is an American League city, and the American League is the League where professional baseball is played.
Cedar Rapids is not dangerous for 99.99% of people. James just prefers areas of white-on-black crime. It's a different place than when I lived there in the 80's. The biggest danger in CR at that time was getting run over by some dude with a mullet driving a Camaro.
Plus you also get the jazz museum.I’m pissed that I forgot the National Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. I actually preferred that to the WW1 Museum.

All correct responses. Good work. KC is a fun town. No museums?Hit up Busch on Friday, Kaufman yesterday.
Busch and the surrounding area were nice, though on just the ballpark, I give the edge to Kaufman.
Good BBQ at Sugarfire and enjoyed some blues show next door. The 360 bar at the top of the Hilton was
Slaps BBQ was great yesterday in KC.
Wish I could have spent more time in KC.
Negative. With it being a mid afternoon game yesterday, we were limited. Will have to come back and do some. All correct responses. Good work. KC is a fun town. No museums?
