Kemerer needs to get his shit together

Got some work to do but wrestled well enough for their first meeting. He looked really tentative. We got out shot by a good margin across the board and didn't give themselves enough opportunities. Good news is the Hawks showed they're closer individually than most thought.
Actually / and unfortunately Meyer schooled Hall. Pretty sure this schooling won't go to waste ...
I was busy and wasn't able to watch but I think Kem has some of the best offense on our team.

Yeah -- not a good idea to come on the wrestling board and rip one of the top freshmen in the nation who's almost a lock to be a 4x AA with a great shot at a national title, who was undefeated coming into the match and wrestled the #1-ranked guy at his weight who's the returning NCAA runner-up.
Never a good idea to rip any wrestler, IMO, but at least show some modicum of knowledge in the process. Kemerer is one of the most exciting guys in the lineup, a terrific kid, and tough as nails. One of the last guys who deserves to be baselessly criticized on a message board by a fan who clearly began following the 2016-17 Iowa wrestling season around 8:00 tonight.

Yeah I know. My work is just busy right now. I didn't even know the meet was last night. I've been getting home at night and then putting in another 6 hrs of work. So that's like 14 hr days or so, for weeks. I'm about ready to collapse, living off Mt Dew, coffee, and green tea. Oh well, my kids are soaking it in and learning from it.
Sorry, that's not wrestling related. Just had to feel sorry for myself for a couple minutes.
Go Hawks! Just need a couple more stallions and then not huge drop offs at weights. We are the mofo Iowa Hawkeyes, we shouldn't have any weight class not ranked in the top 10.

I just didn't think he performed very well last night. Maybe my expectations were too high. Although, certainly not as bad as Brooks.
Really unfortunate news about Stoll, though.
I thought he did about as well as he could. Funked/scramble just to keep it close. Couldn't get past Nolfs positioning and hands
BTW, Nolf is going to b 2 or 3 time champ. Nothing to b ashamed of in this match at all. Plus it's like wrestling your older badass brother

Funny how your position softens as you begin to learn something about Iowa wrestling.
