Looks like Kenny Arnold is feeling good enough to visit the team in Iowa City. Great to see!

This is great to see. Kenny hanging tough! Tree Henry sure has been a great friend to Kenny over the years.

As an aside, I just love how Fran & company have created an atmosphere where past Hawks are embraced by the current team. He did that from Day One when he was announced as the head coach - e.g. Jess Settles at the press conference and Fran making reference to him if memory serves.

Tree actually looks slimmed down somewhat from a few years ago. Great to see Kenny out of his hospital bed and visiting the team.

And yes, McCaffery arrived and sought out a reunion of sorts with past players. Another in the many reasons I've thought we've got the coach we need at Iowa.

Tremendous admiration for Mike Henry. From what I can gather whenever there's an article about Kenny it appears that Mike cares for him as if he were a close family member. Very few people would be as supportive and involved a friend as that.

I was disappointed in the turnout for the fundraiser held for Kenny at the Marriot. I did get to have a good conversation with Vince Brookins and Ronnie Lester. Both are in great shape, especially Ronnie. He does not seem to age.

I didn't know there was a fundraiser. Maybe it wasn't promoted very well or I wasn't paying much attention.
