I believe it is critical for the Hawkeyes to go 4-0 to start the season to have an opportunity to WIN the WEST!

I know this logic doesn't make sense since the Hawkeyes could go 0-4 in non-conference and still win the WEST. It is the mind-set, philosophy, swag, confidence, and this 2015 Hawkeye team learning how to WIN that is going to really matter when they play at Wisconsin.

To win the West they need to:

  1. Go 4-0 Non-Conference
  2. Beat Wisky
  3. Win 5 out of the next 7 games ( I don't believe Iowa can afford 3 losses in conference and they need to beat Wisky since their schedule is like ours - EASY on PAPER (EAST is Heavily weighted with Ohio St and Sparty). Wisky's schedule is very favorable and I can't see them losing more than 1 other Big Ten Game outside of Iowa). I just don't think they are going to lose to anyone other than Alabama in non-conference and hopefully to us and 1 game to either to Nebraska or Minnesota.
