just wondered the name of the song they played at kinnick the other night? Was a mixture of a bunch of 80s songs...bon jovi, journey...? And also would like any other songs they play in the stadium. Thanks

Agree on the Daniels video. Sound of his voice gets drowned out. And thanks to captain obvious squared. Should have specified which ones

The music generally stinks. They play the latest garbage for students and throw in some worn out 80s arena rock for the fogies. No creativity, either. I'd have lists of songs by situation and be reactive to the game.

C'mon the bell ringing thing on 3rd downs (think hells bells by AC/DC) only been doing that for so long it is ingrained in the brain.

maybe BF mixed it from Kirk's CD collection.

Inside sources tell me an upgrade is coming this weekend:

Good song, but this version is too slow and runs too long. People start out clapping along and mildly into it, but by the end of the song no one is paying attention anymore. Plus we stole it from PSU. Abort!
Spelling the State after a score was stolen from Ohio st.

I'm just really thankful tOSU Marching Band is not coming. My memory is not what it once was so I may be remembering this incorrectly, but I seem to recall the 1990 contest with tOSU they brought the Marching Band, and they seemingly played that damned hang on sloopy between every down as Frey and Olive were ripping victory from the jaws of defeat. It seemed particularly annoying because I was sitting in the south end zone, and the band was in sec 110 as I recall. Also our end zone in the 4th Qtr was where Olive made both of his game saving TDs. So that was a terrible day, and I was on top of all the action. Regardless how it happened, I'm just thankful I don't have to listen to that damned song play again dozens upon dozens of times Saturday.

My favorite part of the Minnesota game was they started the Burrito Lift, but without audio, so people were doing the silent Burrito Lift for 5 seconds.

That could possibly be the best five seconds of that game behind: Wadley’s TD run, Fant’s TD catch, and the tip and pick by Gervase.

I’d say that tied for 4th the wave.
