If this ends up being the COVID they’ll shut all sports down.. Rumors that Rudy Gobert has the Covids

Where the broadcasts becomes more about people's health than the games themselves, makes me think we're going to be without major sports for awhile.

i would bet money the Chinese govt made sure he died

they do not tolerate whistle blowers; they want to control the messaging

How much? By the time he was sick, he was famous globally for being brave enough to speak out and being treated with every anti-viral medication they had available. If anything, the CCP would've wanted him to survive to show their medical competence

The level of stupidity in this post is astounding.
What is stupid? Please explain. The question of "Has anyone under 70 died yet?" Or the question "Are any of you scared?"
Or my response that I find all of this nutz?

Elaborate more.

pretty pessimistic about this ncaa tournament. as soon as a player, coach manager etc tests positive, they will likely follow the nba lead and shut it down. unless, they come up with a more creative solution

There is this website called google where you can search for anything. Give it a shot.
29 deaths in the US so far, probably out of date.

10 people die each day traveling on Texas roadways.

All Im saying is lets wait before we cancel the games totally. Limiting audiences is a good precautionary step imo.

If you think about it, the NBA had to. The team with the player now has to be quarantined at least 14 days. Other teams that have played them the past two weeks, have to be quarantined. That means "clean" teams will miss games against these quarantined teams and mess up the scheduling. Suspend for a month and it will be over.

This pandemic will be over in a month? Or we'll all be dead in a month?

0.0017% of the world has caught this. In closed cases 94% of people have recovered. In most cases you get the same symptoms as a cold. But like anything else, the media wants to blow things way out of proportion. Calm down, wash your hands, play basketball.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think the numbers in the US are just getting started and will eventually surpass the numbers that were reported in China.

It certainly is now, with your addition of pomposity. I am with the"nutz" part, media has lost its f..cki.mind, people are more sheeplike than ever before. That is the real issue. Stupid?

Of course. I don't think the mortality rate will catch China's though.

The sad thing is, with the way this season has gone, this was (provided the tournament does get canceled) setting up to be one of the most wide-open exciting tournaments in quite some time. With the mixture of power 6 schools and mid-major schools doing so well. I felt like this was going to be one of those tournaments where there would be upsets galore.
