Kinnick and the 2017 Heisman

Upon further refection and I know nothing and did not play Pop Warner football.

Did we not witness and enjoy watching a Heisman performance the other night in Kinnick (formerly known as Iowa) stadium?

My question is this... Barkley or Jewell?

No question. Barkley leaping and getting hit hard in mid-air but keeping his balance was a Heisman moment. His lateral quickness and speed had him turning corners that should never have been turned. Dude squats 600 lbs and runs a 4.3.

Question - I was at the PSU game. They only played 15 seconds of Kinnick's Heisman speech before kickoff. I thought they always played more of it. Did this cost us the game??? Before the Hawk Walk - outside the stadium - some dude did a hell of a job reciting the entire speech as part of the festivities.

Also, the sound system was terrible before the game - couldn't hear any of the pre-game hype videos, etc. Last game I was at was the Michigan game in '06 and too drunk to remember if it was an issue that night??

As stated it was the normal Kinnick clip, but couldn't really hear the Fight for Iowa video compared to the other home games this year. Maybe it was just the crowd was louder. That video has become the pre-game highlight for me.

I agree with that point. I think Mason Rudolph is a good candidate too. ESPN has been pumping Darnold all season.
