It was an interesting game for crowd noise. Obviously, the crowd got up for big downs and caused some false starts. I've heard Kinnick significantly louder though. Even on those plays. Most of the game the crowd was pretty mild. The defense was lights out and things always seemed in hand. The students and a lot of people left early.
that was also the last game I attended8 false starts in the 2021 Penn State game.

We are on the north west side about at the 20 and it got loud today. The false starts and the fumbled snap (that went back 10 yards) was also due to the crowd noise.

South endzone rebuild much older that North. They would build the South end more vertical next time
Another big play was when the Rutgers center snapped it because he could no hear. That was even better than a false start. The ball went flying past the QB. Rutgers lost 12 yards AND a down.
I yelled at the top of my lungs many times during that game and couldn't hear myself. I heard crowd. That's the only time I've ever experienced that.
I think the 37 was the deepest they got today. But I’m not sure they technically ran a play inside the 40 today.

That’s a pretty random statement. I have been to all home games except one this year and the crowd has been bringing it.
I don’t see them doing a full tear down of the south end zone, especially considering the locker rooms are under it. But I wonder if they could tear out the upper portion and replace it with an upper deck closer to the field and higher than the current upper section, similar to the north upper deck, while putting in more club seats.
