#17 Indiana at #18 Iowa on September 4th from Duke Slater Field at Kinnick Stadium ....

Tom Allen - L-E-O [0-1 vs. Iowa, 2018] as he enters his fifth full season at Indiana.

Kirk Ferentz, Year 23 as head coach, 32 overall, [5-1 as an assistant vs. IU] and [10-5 as a head coach vs. IU].

The Big Ten certainly has improved, since 1981. From 1968 to 1980, it was the B1G 2.

Indiana hasn't had a share of the Big Ten title, since 1967. The Hawkeyes have either played for a title and have won 5 combined or outright titles, since 1981, when Kirk Ferentz arrived as Hayden Fry's new OL coach.

And, Iowa has a first year OL coach, and 2nd year QB, like 1981 and 1990.

Previous first year OL coach didn't have any experience as an OL coach. What will 2021 bring the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Over the past 40 years, it has been great to be a part of Iowa Football, as a fan. More importantly, most of us will have an opportunity to get back to Kinnick Stadium in person in 2021.

The past 20 months has been unprecedented. Back a year ago, we saw the Hawks take on a major challenge head on. One of the best commentaries looking at Kirk and Hawkeye Football.

Here's to the 2021 season. Just Do It, Hawks, one day at a time!
