Thanks to all our military folks.

Thanks is not enough to all our military folks who support democracy and freedom at home and around the world. That we have so many homeless veterans and other veterans in need is a national disgrace. George Kittle is to be admired for doing something about it.

And I hope that all members of the US military will remember this:
"The Nuremberg Trials established that a military individual cannot use 'following orders' as a defense for carrying out illegal or immoral orders, meaning that even if a soldier is ordered to commit a crime, they are still personally responsible for their actions and can be punished for them, essentially rejecting the idea that blind obedience to superiors absolves an individual of responsibility for illegal acts."

Just a reminder that George's mom is one of 10 sisters who grew up in Winfield-Mt Union.

Can you imagine having 10 kids and they are all girls?
