Coaches like him at LB - good combination of size and good speed (at camp they timed him at 4.5/40 at his weight -about 215) Quite a few posters have already tagged him as a MAC-level recruit so it really doesn't matter.

Correct ideation is TE or LB. With Fant commit, LB seems likely or maybe DE if keeps growing
Yep, TE or LB, probably decide once he gets to campus. With Fant committed, likelihood of playing defense might go up though.

The 40 time is nice ... but lateral speed is also pretty darn important. He's one of those unique body types where he's on the border between LB, TE, and DE. The sort of versatile athlete who gives us a bit more freedom when filling position needs.
