Kudos IAWrestle

I'm most impressed by Brown. His transitions and scramble ability is tremendous. He was looking for a pin the entire match. Reeves had to been on his back 7-8 times for less then 3 seconds. Simply a stunning performance much like Thomsens last year.

Thanks everyone! We are pretty happy with the turn out.

As for Brown, I would say there is a chance he lands at SDSU with Bono and Reader, who I think really like him coming into the event, but seeing that kind of performance is a little eye opening. I would put them as the odds on favorite with two other schools still in the mix.

It was a great time. Jrent was a hammer.

Anyone have any info on Conner brown from MO? He lets it fly and absolutely hammered A very good Reeves.

Brown's a 3xer from here in MO. He's got like 5 losses in his career, all coming his freshman year. The kid is an animal that is coached by Bobbe Lowe, former Oak Grove wrestler who went on to be an AA for J Rob and the Goofs. Oak Grove is a small school (2A - 4 classes now in MO) with a steep tradition. I believe he wrestles for MoWest during the off-season which is why I think Dom Bradley (Blue Springs/MU alum) was with him last night.

He does. Two of my former teammates founded MoWest...lots of good kids have come out of there the best being probably being Daniel Lewis.

One thing I also thought worth mentioning was the 9 year old who belted out the national anthem. It was pretty impressive for those of you who missed it.

Also it should be noted that I didn't see one person being disrespectful and kneeling during it. Gotta love wrestlers and the wrestling fans.

Some cool videos from NOC2 on FLO:

-Iowa wrestlers having fun

-Cohlton Schultz interview - He's a Ben Askren fan but seems like he thinks highly of CHA and Iowa wrestling facilities ;) Haha not reading too much into that though, he is quite talented and looks like he would be a great replacement for Stoll. I hope it's a possibility we can land him in the next 1.5-2 years.

Some other thoughts, Costello didn't look too bad, wrestles a similar style to Stoll and got the job done against a higher ranked opponent. J-Rents match was fun to watch.

You will see me kneeling at Hawkeye home meets. I am aware of systemic discrimination.

A shitty job? I thought it was fine, plus it was going up against Super 32. Kudos all around.

S32 coverage was a different story no cameras were out of focus. Also no names during matches, no FloArena and no brackets. We used track too try and follow along.
Izzys' team looked sharp

This is a thread for Night of Conflict, are you talking about Conflict at Carver (IAWrestle didn't create that)? Otherwise, I don't know why you neeed FloArena or brackets.

Don't leave me in suspense. What other 2 schools?

Sorry I didn't list the other two because I couldn't remember off the top of my head. I'd need to go back to the interview, but I think it was Mizzou and then one other. They were Non-B10/B12 schools that have been recruiting Brown since the beginning.
