I was reviewing last years class. This kid has as impressive an offer list as we have had in a while. Any news on how he looks in practice??
Thanks

Key Bryan looks really solid and I think he will be a beast next year. He would have gone SEC if he didn't hurt his knee. Good news, that knee got 1 year of S&C and he should be awesome for us.

He is kind of a forgotten guy. Howe doesn't even mention him when he's talking about returning RB's in his 'sneak peak' for 2018. He's intriguing. There will be some good competition next year between Young and IKM and Toks coming off a RS year along with Bryan. I also wonder if Joly will stick it out his senior year or transfer to a small school where he might get some PT.

His recruiting was kind of in two different waves. Early on, lots of offers and committed to South Carolina. Then, during his senior year, South Carolina told him they no longer planned to take him, so he started looking elsewhere and ended up picking Iowa over Pitt.

If Bryan is good enough, he will play this coming season. If he beats either Young or IKM out, he's really good.

Watch his hs tape from rivals or the huddle. K. Bryan is a stud no doubt!
But he looks (Exactly) like Lesaun Daniels. A pure straight ahead down hill power type back. I see him as the thunder guy to IKM as the lightning guy.
But the bottom line is IKM is the real deal. He is an AA to come.
Bryan, Young, Geil, etc. are gonna be watching him from the bench the next 3 years. Nothing against any of those kids. Love em all.
But I saw IKM in HS at Oswego and I thought if Ronnie Harmon, Albert Young and Jermelle Lewis had a baby it’d be IKM!

He looks nothing like Lesaun Daniels. In fact I don't even know what Lesaun Daniels looks like, Never heard of him. Do you mean LeShun Daniels Jr.? He looks nothing like him as well. He is not a 'power' type back. Watch the Rivals analysis of him on youtube.
That is a very entertaining analysis, but I disagree with it as do most analysts. I believe Young will be the starter with IKM being the 'change up' back and Bryan could get some 3rd down work. I think it will be RB by committee and situational next year. Bryan probably has the biggest upside as an all-purpose back, and I wouldn't count out Toks getting back in the mix as well (he was ahead of Young their freshman yr.). He is a one-cut back with really good speed and if he continues to bulk up, he is a LeShun Daniels type (but with a little more speed) as many analysts have mentioned. There will be some nice competition between Young/Akinribade at the 'powerback' and IKM/Bryan at the 'changeup' back. Nice to see us have some quality depth at RB, because we all know how fast they can go down.

One of those guys will play substancial minutes opposite IKM. I'd agree though IKM looks special to me. I'd also say, I'd be thrilled to have another L Daniels. The only year he was healthy all season, (senior year), he rushed for over a 1000 yds, and showed he could take it too the house from over 70 yds out, while splitting carrys with AW. Damn fine Hawk, and leader as well.
