can you take one from lax to Pasadena? If so how much?? Do I need a rental car in la?
Never been there before and trying to figure out where to stay.

Estimate for an Uber ride from LAX to the Rose Bowl is 45-55 bucks. That is before demand surges are factored in, so if there is a lot of demand it could run you 60-70 bucks. I saw an article recently that Facebook and Uber are starting a partnership, so if you download the Facebook Messenger app for your smartphone you can call an Uber from that and get $20 off your first time.

There is also Uber pool in LA so you can car pool with people headed in the same general direction. It's a little bit cheaper

You can only take Uber black car/SUV from LAX. Taxi is your best option.

I am told that what you do is jump into a hotel shuttle that's going nearby and then grabbing an uber from the hotel to wherever your staying. Also anybody know how cabs work in the city? Are they allowed to shut off the meter if you agree on a price before leaving?

Uber is the way to go taxi will cost you your kids college tuition. A lot depends on what time you fly in. Uber costs can rise but there are some good Uber deals out there like the one mentioned above.

Uber even in surge pricing will still be cheaper than a taxi. I live in Miami area and it is huge here. Drivers are much faster getting to you and cars are cleaner. Use code muz21 for $20 credit on your first ride. Enter it while setting up the app on your phone.

Last time i was out there Uber was pretty cheap. Took a taxi to my hotel from the airport and it was like $60 to DT and an Uber back a few days later for about $25. My question for anyone in the know or anyone that has gone to the rose bowl is what time would we need to get an Uber from a downtown hotel to avoid a ton a traffic in the morning of the rose bowl? We don't care about the parade and are just meeting people to tailgate. They will be early tailgating so anytime in the morning works.

I got a rental car for $120 bucks through priceline............LA is a very large and spread out metro area...one or two uber rides will cost you the same as renting a car for a few days.

Good point. That is an option, and I've thought about doing it but too lazy and just wanna get home. I'm also usually just expensing the ride

As someone mentioned, you can do uber pool. You can split the price with others going to the Rose Bowl, ando if no one joins you, you still get a discount. I live in Long Beach and when I take uber to LA it would be usually $30-40 but when I use pool it's between $20-23 even if no one else joins the car I'm in.
