Rewatching the the Maryland game and seeing Ladell greet Goodson coming off the field. I hope he enjoys success as a coach he deserved as a player. I still remember KF at the Chicago I-Club event in 1999. He joke that the bad news was our starting OL averaged about his size. The good news was we had a hellvua punter. Ladell suffered behind some bad OL until 2001. Probably the saddest I felt for a Hawkeye player (outside of true personal tragedy) was Ladell missing the 2001 Alamo Bowl. He carried some heavy weight as a Hawkeye, so good to see him back.
