Prior to UNI's David Johnson from Clinton, IA, who was drafted #86 overall this year, do you have to go back to Tavian Banks in 1998 to find a RB drafted that went to high school in Iowa? Or am I forgetting someone in between there?
The Hawkeyes have had 2 RB's total drafted since Tavian Banks - Shonn Greene and Ladell Betts - but both were from out of state originally.
Iowa State hasn't had a RB drafted since Troy Davis in 1997 and he was from out of state anyway.
Before Johnson, UNI hadn't had a RB drafted since Randy Schultz in 1966.
Any RB recruits that left the state and got drafted?
