Laux might already have his degree? If so, he can transfer for graduate school and wrestle immediately.

I think he grey shirted then redshirted then used a year. I doubt he has his degree already but I could be wrong. If he doesn't already have a degree then he would have to sit one year per Big Ten rules(I think), that would leave him with two years to wrestle... And a degree from Northwestern. Worth it IMO.

Maybe if you just look at folkstyle. If you include freestyle wrestling, Seth Gross beat Stroker (twice) and Thomsen while in high school.

According to some, losing a leg would give him an advantage. It is what allowed Robles to be a national champ. We will see just how dedicated Grothus is.
