Lazard on Instagram

I dislike the kid, a lot, for a lot of different reasons. He could've said nothing and gone about life as though it didn't happen, but he referenced it and was respectful about it.

He's still ISU football's Niang, though.

Meh...

The good thing is he'll be gone after this year. Ain't no way he's sticking around for another year.

I really have to question his father for allowing him to waste his talent collegiately in Ames when he could have gone to any number of big time schools to play. Like him or not he is an excellent player who barring a miracle ISU turnaround this season looks like he will not play in even the crappiest of bowl games for his first 3 years. If they do not bowl next year - that's an entire career with no bowl games - wow. Really, really sad and I find no reason to be hateful.

Major reason I dislike/hate the kid is the same reason why I dislike/hate any other ISU player: They play/ed for ISU. The Rose Bowl post knocked him up under Seneca Wallace for me, though.

I just wish he wouldn't have gone to Iowa State. A guy that good shouldn't be on a team as bad as ISU.
He goes to any other school in the P5s and he's probably in the NFL in the first two days of the draft next year. Now he'll probably be 2nd or 3rd day.

Why? His dad got a job and his brother got a scholarship.

He used a picture from two years ago because there probably weren't many to choose from when king was guarding him. Even fewer (one?) where they threw at him with King there.

Niang played well in big games and won

So his father got the scholarship?

I have a few ISU friends who really dont like Lazard. The say he is a pompous, arrogant prick.

Do you really go looking at ISU Players Instagrams?

Sad.

I'd also put money on mike warren leaving that program.. Maybe before big 12 play

I wouldn't bet against it. He and Campbell don't seem to be on the same page as of now and Campbell's postgame remarks regarding Warren were certainly not positive.

Too bad he wasted away at ISU but gotta give him credit for sticking it out and seaming to be a decent teammate.
How does he appear to be a decent teammate? He finished the game standing alone from the rest of his team while they continued to support their teammates on the field. The only reason he put that out there was to try saving some face.

I heard the same from his days at Urbandale High School. To be fair, I'm sure this sort of attitude is VERY common among guys with his talent, especially when he's at a school that doesn't really have many guys like him. Hopefully he learns to curb that as he matures.

If by players you mean a player who talked shit about iowa and his team just got their ass handed to them so I was curious what he had to say now, like a train wreck, yes.

Again...that's sad.

Interesting the pic is from 2 years ago. What exactly did he post during the rose bowl?

Why doesn't ISU just put a kabosh on the whole pathetic football program. They will never be any good, and most years they are downright embarrassing.

They should just go all in on basketball, like Georgetown, or Butler.

Then, if they REALLY want to still play football, go NAIA or at very best, move to FCS with UNI, but I don't think they would regularly complete at the FCS level either.

It would suck being an ISU football fan and I would be ready to just throw in the towel, whatever that means.

Perhaps Lazard checked the latest polls that have 5 B1G teams in the Top 15?
