Vote for Warner, Spencer even wants us to!
The final poll shows:
Jacob Warner, Washington Community (Washington, Ill.) 30.5% (16,136 votes)
Gable Steveson, Apple Valley (Minn.) 21.84% (11,557 votes)

This is a Hawkeye board so Yes we can.Can you really argue against a 2 time world freestyle champ who hasn't lost a high school match since 8th grade in the state finals at 195? Oh, and 42-0 with 41 pins last season including an 11 second pin in the state finals.
C'mon man!

No one has argued against Steveson being deserving - the issue is that it appeared to be an award determined by the voting public, and that didn't happen.
I'm assuming it was like most polls with a fan component where the fan vote counts for a small % - to prevent electronic ballot stuffing. That said, there's usually a disclaimer explaining this and there doesn't appear to be one.No one has argued against Steveson being deserving - the issue is that it appeared to be an award determined by the voting public, and that didn't happen.
