I would get ready to be impressed. Given his level of talent don't think he has ever cut weight to wrestle in high school, he beat some good kids at the state by TF and fall.

I'll take Spencer via TF/Pin over the field. Maybe Decatur keeps it to a MD in finals.

I remember watching Spencer destroy this years Super 32 finalist Austin Desanto by TF halfway through the second period in the state finals last spring. Desanto lost by decision to Silva in that Super 32 final. I say Spencer would TF Silva too. Decatur may be able to survive the whole match, but Spencer wrestles a different style from Teasdale.

Maybe they factored in weight. Dont think Jordan is a full 126.

Madrigal controlled his last match against Woods (Conflict at Carver?) and is the 5 seed to Wood's 4.

If seeds hold, 4 and 5 get to hash it out in the quarters with 2 and 3 settling it in the semis and the winners earning a shot at Lee.

I'm gonna have a ball watching that bracket and many other matches play out live and in person. In season, in high school nothing beats the Ironman and the Clash matside for junkies like me.

Yes. There are many things you are clearly unaware of, this is just another one of those things.

Love this time of year. I love watching Hawk commits compete almost as much as the D1 version.

I love that Lee is up at 126. It's a very competitive bracket and 120 isn't all that great. Some of these may be a bit bigger than Spencer, so it could be challenging to see if Lee can dominate guys that he doesn't have as much of a strength advantage over. If he is somehow able to mop up through this tough field, as previously stated all weight concerns (which are plain silly if ya ask me) should be put to rest. Decatur is tough as is Woods, Madrigal and Silva. So rankings wise Lee's field stacks up like this:

8. Jaden Abas # 20 @ 126 (Abas is the nephew of Fresno St stud and Olympic Silver Medalist Stephen Abas. Jaden got pinned in the state finals this year by former Hawk commit Justin Mejia. Long, lanky kid that likes to ride. Could be an interesting quarterfinal matchup for Lee if the pre-seeds hold.

Jacob warner should absolutely roll through his bracket. His potential semi-final opponent Salas from SJB is nowhere near his level. Kid was 6th in California last year. Jacob 3rd in the World. My money's on J War (Yeah, you heard it hear first, that's his nickname, run with it!) The number 2 seed Nick Mosco from Blair is the only ranked kid in his bracket and he's #19 @ 220. J War should smash his way to a title.
