Yeah that's called making a statement on Senior Day!

Such a wave of emotions as a fan to witness that moment, then to realize that I'll never get to see it again in CHA.

We'll all be lucky if we ever get to witness anything close to Spencer Lee in an Iowa singlet again. The bar is set so high already, if he gets 4 in March, it may be unattainable.

I think the same can be said of college wrestlers in general. It will be tough for anyone, at any school, to match his level of dominance. It really is sad that he has had to battle injuries of this magnitude throughout his career. Even his injury battle is legendary; I think it’s safe to say that none of us will ever see another D1 wrestler dominate his way to a NCAA title with 2 torn ACL’s. If he had come in healthy and avoided major injuries, I have no doubt he would have gone undefeated.

Totally understand outsiders and less informed Hawk fans not willing to put Spencer above Carl for GOAT status because of the losses, but anybody who knows everything he's gone through while still dominating knows he's the undisputed greatest.
