LeShun Daniels signed to the practice squad.

As long as he on the practice squad he won't be playing in front of anybody but still better for LeShun to be on the practice squad than out of football entirely.

Its great because it keeps his foot in the door. Just wondering, what do practice squad players make generally? Can he also be claimed off the practice squad by other teams, or does that involve some type of trade?

Practice squad players in 2017 can earn a minimum of $7,200 per week during the regular season and postseason, per the current CBA, but there is no cap on the amount practice squad players can receive.

I believe any practice squad player can be claimed by another NFL team if they want to place them on their active roster. The original team can retain the player by elevating him to the active roster. That is what happened to Rudock last year. Detroit had him on the practice squad, the Bears tried to sign him, and Detroit exercised their right to elevate him to the active roster.

Pretty sure another team can just claim him. The pay is something like no max but $7k per week minimum.

Thanks, thats interesting. Wasn't sure just how all that worked, but I thought that other teams could sign him if needed. This gives him a shot at a roster, with the high attrition rate of NFL RB's.

Green Bay should have signed him. They don't have much for running backs.

Vikings should bring him in for a look after dalvin went down...they literally have zero power backs McKinnon and Murray go down so easily
