I just contacted the ticket office and there are over 10,000 tickets sold as of 10:30 AM Friday. There are 4,900 tickets available. I say we fill it up!


You can order tickets for the Iowa-Iowa State wrestling meet at:

You can also call for tickets at 1-800-IA-HAWK (1-800-424-2957).

Ticket Office hours are until 4PM Friday and they will be open at 5:30 PM Saturday before the meet. All times are CST. Online sales are 24 hours/day.

Impressed that 10k tickets have been sold. I recognize that that is usually the average, but didn't think they would get that many this year.

A lot of those 10k won't show, and even more so now with the forecast... I'd gamble butts in the seats numbers will be around 8k, give or take a few hundred.

Agree with this. Nice effort. Weather may turn some away but that's outside anyone's control.

If anyone was at the dual last year in Ames, the same thing happened with the snow. Barely made it home, 3 hour trip turned to over 4+. But it was well worth it. To anyone traveling, be safe.

The web site option will not allow you to order online. You can get anything for all other sports except wrestling. Not a good way to pack the house. Also bad planning on my part as I should have ordered before now. Only have myself to blame. Wanted to order online so I could print out the tickets. Will have to wait until 4pm to call box office.

Don't login to your acct until after you select seats and it works. I had to play around and figure it out myself but that worked for me. So basically select your seats and have them in your cart....once you checkout it will ask you to login.

Thank you 2plus2....I let my better and smarter half order the tickets. Sometimes the best thing is knowing when to stay out of the way.
