Maybe my memory is failing me, but he reminds me some of Nathan Chandler. Little unorthodox. Little inconsistent.
I hope we have similar team success as the 03 team.
Nathan lacked accuracy, but made plays when it seemed to matter most (Michigan) as did Ochoa. I'm seeing some of that in Beathard early.
Chandler, while not the talent of Banks and Tate, seemed to grasp what Kirk wanted from QB. I'm sensing some of that from Beathard.
I looked up Chandler's rushing stats. They were a mere 83 yards or so. I would have guessed more. Beathard has about that in week 2.
