My thoughts on each weight:

125: Good draw, should get plenty of bonus points. It will be interesting to see if Cruz can make the semis. His top game might be trouble.

133: Clark has a tough first round matchup in Schram. I think he wins easy but bonus points aren't going to be as easy for a normal first round match. Then a tough matchup awaits with Micic in the quarters and NATO in the semis. I still think he gets it done. Really liked how he looked at Big Tens despite the controversial loss in the finals.

141: Could get some bonus points in the pigtail. Then a tough match with DiCamillo. It will be interesting to see what Carton shows up. Any points here would be nice. Side note, Guilibon has Gasca first round, who we all know has owned him. Not good for PSU there.

149: Like Sorensen's first couple of matches. Quarters against Jordan, who I don't think can beat him again. Then the matchup we have all been waiting for since the PSU dual against Retherford.

157: Don't like Kem's draw here. Tough 2nd and 3rd round matchups with Mastriani then Palacio or Murphy. I don't think Lavallee will beat him so get past the quarters and it should be a finals appearance.

165: I mean you can't ask for much more here. Wommack then Zeke Jordan. Doubt he gets any points but both guys aren't too scary IMO. You never know.

174: Like his draw a lot. Should be bonus points first round. Then Priesch or Pagano round two. Pagano beat Priesch not long ago. Then Bo Jordan who is vulnerable too. I have my Black and Gold glasses but an appearance in the Semis would be huge to put us in the team race.

184: Gravina in round one who Brooks has owned and then Geer who he also owned. Then Martin who he also owned. Seems like a good path to a rematch with Nickal. Wish that Martin got the 7 instead of 6.

197: Don't know who Tom Sleigh is so that is a good thing right? Any points here would be good. Hope he gets some momentum/experience for next year at 184.

All in all, I think the matchups could put us in position to make some noise. Our boys need to come to wrestle and remind other fans why they hate us.

Iowa Breakdown

Gilman (1st) - 24.5 points
Wins all the way through picking up bonus in every match until the finals.

Clark (1st) - 21 points
Bonus' first round match, then wins stingy victories until he gets his arm raised. CHAMP

Carton (R12) - 2.5 points
Wins pigtail match, loses to Dicamillo, then beats Martin, Pletcher, and Gasca to make R12 before falling to Meredith/Ward/Jack.

Sorensen (3rd) - 15.5 points
Falls to Zain in the semi's and wrestles back to beat Mayes/Jordan for 3rd.

Kemerer (2nd) - 19 points
I think he cruises to the Quarters where he wins a tough match against palacio, and wins a controlled decision against Lavallee in the semis to make the finals as a freshman.

Gunther (R16) - 1.5 points
I think he falls to Womack, then gets wins over De la Riva and Ashworth, and falls to Steiert in the R16.

Meyer (8th) - 7 points
He bonuses first match, then falls to Preisch, then takes out Spoon in the R16 and either Ramos or Amine in the R12, fall to Epperly/Hall after the R12 putting him into 7th place match.

Brooks (3rd) - 16.5 points
Dominates first two matches, Martin closes the gap in the quarters but still loses, and loses a tight one to Nickal in the semis. Comes back strong for third.

Wilcke (1-2) - 0.5 points
Loses a close one his first match, comes back strong to win against unseeded opponent, then falls to next seeded foe.

Team Point Total = 108. :)

Wilckes opponent is a jr. at Bucknell. Wrestled 184 last year, can't find this years record or stats.
Originally from PA.

Wilcke couldn't ask for a better matchup. Sleigh has a nice record but some mediocre losses. He got beat just as bad by Weigel too.

I thought the seeding committee did a really nice job this year. No complaints here.

Only one that is sorta stood out as weird is Clay Ream(NDSU) at the #6 seed @157.
